31. Kitaab Ul Salatut Taraweeh (praying at night in ramdan)

ROZE AUR SHAB-E-QADAR KI FAZILATH:

Abu Huraira (رضی اللہ عنہ) se riwayat hai keh: Muhammed Rasool Allah (ﷺ) farmaay, " Jo imaan aur sawab ki niyyat se ramzaan kay roze rakhe toh uske agle gunaah baqsh diye jaengay, aur jisne imaan aur sawab ki nazar se Shab-e-Qadar qayam kiya toh uskay bhi agle gunaah baqsh diye jaengay."

[SAHIH Al BUKHARI: 2008]

Narrated by Abu Huraira (رضی اللہ عنہ) : The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith (i.e. belief) and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven, and whoever stood for the prayers in the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven."

حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبیﷺنے فرمایا: جو کوئی ایمان رکھ کر ثواب کی نیت سے رمضان کے روزے رکھے اس کے اگلے تمام گناہ معاف کردئیے جاتے ہیں اور جو کوئی شب قدر کو ایمان رکھ کر ثواب کی نیت سے قیام کرے اس کے اگلے تمام گناہ معاف کردئیے جاتے ہیں۔



SHAB - E- QADR KO RAMZAAN KI AAKHRI RAATOU MEIN TALAASH KARO :

'Ubada bin As-Samit (رضی اللہ عنہ) se riwayat hai keh: Muhammad Rasool Allah (ﷺ) farmaay, "Apnay hijray se main iss liye nikala tha kay shab-e-qadr ke baray mein aap logou ko khabar du lekin fulah fulah 2 aadmi apas mein ladh padhay aur jiss ki wajhe se itnay mein woh mere dil se uthali gaye ,(yani bhula di gaye mujhe) shayad usme tumhare liye behtari ho, lehaza ab issay ramzan ki akhri raatou mein talaash karo 23, 25, 27, 29 ramzaan ko.

Narrated by 'Ubada bin As-Samit (رضی اللہ عنہ): "Allah's Apostle went out to inform the people about the (date of the) night of decree (Al-Qadr) but there happened a quarrel between two Muslim men. The Prophet said, "I came out to inform you about (the date of) the night of Al-Qadr, but as so and so and so and so quarrelled, its knowledge was taken away (I forgot it) and maybe it was better for you. Now look for it in the 7th, the 9th and the 5th (of the last 10 nights of the month of Ramadan)."۔

حضرت عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے کہا: نبیﷺ ہمیں شب قدر بتانے کےلیے باہر تشریف لائے، اتنے میں دو مسلمان لڑ پڑے، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: میں تم کو شب قدر بتلانے کے لیے نکلا لیکن فلاں فلاں کے لڑنے سے میں بھول گیا اور شاید اسی میں تمہاری بھلائی ہو اس لیے (آخری عشرہ کے) نو، سات، یا پانچ کی راتوں میں اس کو تلاش کرو



MUHAMMED RASOOL ALLAH (ﷺ) TAHAJJUD/TARAWEEH KI SIRF 8 RAKAATH PADHTE:

Abu Salma bin 'Abdur Rahman (رضی اللہ عنہ) se riwayat hai keh: 'Aisha (رضى الله عنها) se pucha gaya kay Muhammed Rasool Allah (ﷺ) (Tahajjud/Taraweeh) mein kitni raka'at namaaz padhte thhe? Toh 'Aisha (رضى الله عنها) ne bataya keh, "Ramzaan ho ya koi aur mahina Aap (ﷺ) 11 rakaatou se zayada nahi padhte thhe, Aap (ﷺ) peheli 4 raka'at padhtay kay tum uski husn wo khoobi aur taweel ka haal na pucho, phir 4 raka'at padhtay kay uske husn wo khoobi taweel ka haal na pucho, aur phir Aap (ﷺ) aakhri mein 3 Witr raka'at namaaz padhte thhe".

Narrated by Abu Salma bin 'Abdur Rahman (رضی اللہ عنہ): I asked 'Aisha (رضى الله عنها), "How is the prayer of Allah's Apostle during the month of Ramadan." She said, "Allah's Apostle never exceeded eleven raka'at in Ramadan or in other months; he used to offer four Rakat, do not ask me about their beauty and length, then four Rakat, do not ask me about their beauty and length, and then three raka'at." 'Aisha (رضى الله عنها) further said, "I said, 'O Allah's Apostle! Do you sleep before offering the Witr prayer?' He replied, 'O 'Aisha! My eyes sleep but my heart remains awake!' "

حضرت ابو سلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ رسول اللہﷺ رمضان میں رات کو کتنی رکعتیں پڑھتے انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہﷺ رمضان میں اور غیر رمضان میں (کبھی) گیارہ رکعتوں سے زیادہ نہیں پڑھتے تھے۔ پہلے چار رکعتیں پڑھتے ان کی خوبی اور لمبائی کا کیا پوچھنا۔ پھر چار رکعتیں پڑھتے ان کی خوبی اور لمبائی کا کیا پوچھنا۔ پھر تین رکعتیں پڑھتے۔ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں میں نے کہا: یا رسول اللہﷺ! آپﷺ وتر پڑھنے سے پہلے سوجاتے ہیں۔آپﷺ نے فرمایا: اے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا! میری آنکھیں (ظاہر میں) سوتی ہیں، دل نہیں سوتا۔

NEEND MEIN SHAITAAN KI 3 GIRHA:

Abu Huraira (رضی اللہ عنہ) se riwayat hai keh: Muhammed Rasool Allah (ﷺ) farmaay, "Har ek ki gardan per shaitaan 3 girha lagata hai. Jabh wo so jaata hai, har girha per shaitaan phunk deta hai kay abhi raat bohot hai phir jabh koi jaaga aur usne Allah ko yaad kiya tab ek girha khul jaati hai aur wadu kiya toh dusri waali girha khul jaati aur jabh namaaz padhi toh sab girha khul jaate hai."

Narrated by Abu Huraira (رضی اللہ عنہ) : Allah's Apostle said, "Satan puts three knots at the back of the head of any of you if he is asleep. On every knot he reads and exhales the following words, 'The night is long, so stay asleep.' When one wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone; and when one performs ablution, the second knot is undone, and when one prays the third knot is undone and one gets up energetic with a good heart in the morning; otherwise one gets up lazy and with a mischievous heart."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہﷺنے فرمایا: جب آدمی سوجاتا ہے تو شیطان اس کی گدی پر تین گرہیں لگاتا ہے(جادو کی گرہیں) اور ہر گرہ پر افسوں پھونک دیتا ہے، بڑی رات پڑی ہے (بے فکر ہوکر) سوجاؤ۔ پھر اگر آدمی جاگا اور اللہ کی یاد کی تو ایک گرہ کھل جاتی ہے۔ پھر اگر وضو کرے تو دوسری گرہ کھل جاتی ہے۔ پھر اگر نماز پڑھے تو آدمی صبح کو خوش مزاج رہتا ہے ورنہ صبح کو سست مزاج رہتا ہے۔



MUHAMMED RASOOL ALLAH (ﷺ) NE ALI (رضی اللہ عنہ) KO TAHAJJUD NAMAAZ KAY LIYE KAHAY:

'Ali bin Abi Talib (رضی اللہ عنہ) se riwayat hai keh: Muhammed Rasool Allah (ﷺ) apni beti Fatima (رضى الله عنها) kay ghar tashreef legae aur Fatima (رضى الله عنها) aur Ali (رضی اللہ عنہ) se farmaay, "Tumlog tahajjud namaaz kyun nahi padhtay? Ali( (رضی اللہ عنہ) jawab diye kay jabh Allah chahega utha dega (namaaz kay liye neend se). Muhammed Rasool Allah (ﷺ) ye sunkar apni raan mubarak per marte hue ye farmaatay gae kay "Insaan sab cheezou se zayada badha jhagdalu hai".

Narrated by 'Ali bin Abi Talib (رضی اللہ عنہ) : One night Allah's Apostle came to me and Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet and asked, "Won't you pray (at night)?" I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Our souls are in the hands of Allah and if He wants us to get up He will make us get up." When I said that, he left us without saying anything and I heard that he was hitting his thigh and saying, "But man is more quarrelsome than anything".

حضرت علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہﷺ ایک رات ان کے اور حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس آئے، آپﷺنے فرمایا: کیا تم لوگ تہجد کی نماز نہیں پڑھوگے؟ میں نے عرض کیا اے اللہ کے رسولﷺ! ہماری روحیں اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہیں وہ جب چاہیے گا ہمیں اٹھادے گا۔ہماری اس عرض پر آپﷺواپس تشریف لے گئے۔لیکن واپس جاتے ہوئے میں نے سنا کہ آپﷺ ران پر ہاتھ مارکر (سورۂ کہف کی یہ آیت پڑھ رہے تھے) آدمی سب سے زیادہ جھگڑالو ہے۔(وکان الانسان اکثر شیء جدلا)



SUBHA DAIR TAK SONE KI MUMANIYATH:

'Abdullah (رضی اللہ عنہ) se riwayat hai keh: Muhammed Rasool Allah (ﷺ) farmaay, "Jo subha tak sote raheta hai (yani namaaz Tahajjud kay liye nahi uthta) shaitaan uske kaan mein mut deta hai."

[SAHIH MUSLIM: 1700, SUNAN AN NASA'i : 1609]

Narrated by 'Abdullah (رضی اللہ عنہ) : A person was mentioned before the Prophet (ﷺ) and he was told that he had kept on sleeping till morning and had not got up for the prayer. The Prophet said, "Satan urinated in his ears."

حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے کہا: نبیﷺ کے سامنے ایک شخص کا ذکر ہوا، لوگوں نے کہا: وہ صبح تک سوتا رہا اور (فرض) نماز کیلئے بھی نہیں اٹھا۔آپﷺ نے فرمایا: شیطان نے اس کے کان میں پیشاب کردیا۔

TAHAJJUD/TARAWEEH KI IBTEDAAH:

'Urwa (رضی اللہ عنہ) se riwayat hai keh: Muhammed Rasool Allah (ﷺ) masjid mein ek din namaaz-e-taraweeh padhay. Aap kay saath kuch log bhi namaaz padhay, aur phir Aap (ﷺ) dusre din bhi namaaz padhae aur phele din se zayada log jama huay masjid mein aap kay saath namaaz mein. Aur phir Aap (ﷺ) tesre din namaaz padhaey masjid mein aur guzashte dinou se badhkay log jama huay namaaz kay liye. Phir agle din sab log masjid mein jama ho kar Aap (ﷺ) ka intezaar kar rahe thhe lekin Aap (ﷺ) nahi tashreef laey. Aur subha jabh Aap (ﷺ) ae toh farmaay, "Amma ba'du! Mujhe maloom thha tumhare yahan jama hone ka raat mein, balke main dara kahin ye namaaz mere ummat par farz na kar di jaey".

Narrated by 'Urwa (رضی اللہ عنہ) : That he was informed by 'Aisha, "Allah's Apostle went out in the middle of the night and prayed in the mosque and some men prayed behind him. In the morning, the people spoke about it and then a large number of them gathered and prayed behind him (on the second night). In the next morning the people again talked about it and on the third night the mosque was full with a large number of people. Allah's Apostle came out and the people prayed behind him. On the fourth night the Mosque was overwhelmed with people and could not accommodate them, but the Prophet (ﷺ) came out (only) for the morning prayer. When the morning prayer was finished he recited Tashah-hud and (addressing the people) said, "Amma ba'du, your presence was not hidden from me but I was afraid lest the night prayer (Qiyam) should be enjoined on you and you might not be able to carry it on." So, Allah's Apostle died and the situation remained like that (i.e. people prayed individually)."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہﷺ ایک مرتبہ نصف شب میں مسجد تشریف لے گئے، اور وہاں تراویح کی نماز پڑھیاور کچھ لوگو ں نے بھی آپﷺکے پیچھے پڑھی جب صبح ہوئی تو انہوں نے اس کا چرچا کیا۔ دوسری رات کو اس سے زیادہ لوگ جمع ہوئے اور آپﷺکے ساتھ نماز پڑھی صبح کو لوگوں نے اور زیادہ چرچا کیا تیسری شب کو بہت لوگ جمع ہوئے،رسول اللہﷺباہر تشریف لائے اور نماز پڑھی لوگوں نے بھی آپﷺ کے پیچھے پڑھی جب چوتھی رات ہوئی تو اتنے لوگ جمع ہوئے کہ مسجد میں ان کا سمانا مشکل ہوگیا لیکن(اس رات) آپﷺباہر تشریف نہیں لائے۔صبح کو نماز کےلیے نکلے اور نماز کے بعد لوگوں کی طرف مخاطب ہوئے پہلے تشہد پڑھا پھر فرمانے لگے: اما بعد! تمہارے یہاں جمع ہونے کا مجھے علم تھا، لیکن مجھے اس کا خوف ہوا کہ کہیں تم پر یہ نماز فرض نہ کردی جائے، پھر تم اس کی ادائیگی سے عاجر
